Fort Baker Capital Management manages assets on a discretionary basis for institutional clients, including registered investment companies, regulated investment vehicles, and private investment funds. Fort Baker also manages private investment funds. The firm invests, reinvests, and manages the Master Fund’s assets. Fort Baker may submit individual trade signals to third-party investment advisors.
Fort Baker Capital Management charges Separate Account Clients asset-based fees and, in some cases, performance-based fees. The fees are negotiated separately for each client. For the Master Fund, Fort Baker receives a monthly management fee based on the net asset values of the Feeder Investments. The management fee rate is generally 1.5% per year, but certain early investors are subject to a lower rate. The General Partner is entitled to a portion of the Master Fund’s net profits, generally 20% of the appreciation in the relevant Feeder Investment, subject to a loss carryforward procedure. However, for Founders Investments, the Incentive Allocation rate is 15%.
