AlphaQuest utilizes proprietary, systematic, quantitative trading programs to provide advice regarding financial instruments. AlphaQuest's primary investment strategy historically has involved trading Commodity Interests for managed accounts and pooled investment vehicles utilizing AlphaQuest’s proprietary trading programs. AlphaQuest also provides investment advice regarding Securities Instruments (in addition to Commodity Interests) to certain private investment Funds. AlphaQuest may also advise certain separately managed account advisory clients.
AlphaQuest does not have a standardized or general fee schedule. AlphaQuest charges management fees based on the value of assets they manage and performance-based compensation based on trading gains. Management fees generally range from 1.0% to 2.0% per year, charged monthly. Performance-based compensation ranges from 15% to 20% of trading gains, charged quarterly. Fees may be negotiable.
