Daemon Investment and Asset Management (DIAM) is an investment management firm that provides advisory services to privately offered pooled investment vehicles (funds). DIAM's services include investment advice related to Brazilian export finance and Brazilian public debt, as well as quantitative investing strategies. These strategies use models that trade futures, equities, and options.
Fee Structure
DIAM manages investments for privately offered pooled investment vehicles (funds).
For Daemon Investment Fund (DIF), DIAM receives a quarterly management fee of $2,000,000 (up to $8,000,000 yearly) and an annual performance fee of 10% of the net profits generated by DIF during the year.
For the Onshore Fund and Offshore Fund, DIAM receives an annual management fee of 1.5% for Class B Shares and no management fee for Class C Shares. The management fee is paid quarterly in arrears based on the final Net Asset Value of each calendar quarter.
In addition, for the Onshore Fund and Offshore Fund, the General Partner will be owed a Performance Fee equal to 17.5%, for Class B Shares, or 15%, for Class C Shares, of the increase in net asset value.
