Scalar Gauge Management primarily offers discretionary portfolio management and investment management for private pooled investment vehicles (Funds) and certain qualified legal entities (Managed Account Clients). They may also offer non-discretionary investment advice. The firm invests in long and short positions of equity securities, focusing on global companies, particularly in technology, media, telecommunications, consumer, and services sectors.
Fee Structure
Scalar Gauge Management manages investments for pooled investment funds (Hedge Fund, SPV, and Long Only Fund). The management fee for the Hedge Fund is 1.5% of the net asset value annually. For the SPV and Long Only Fund, the management fee is 1.0% of the net asset value annually. The management fee applicable to any Investor in a Fund may be reduced or waived. In addition to the management fee, the general partner of each Fund or another affiliate of Scalar Gauge is entitled to receive performance based compensation.
