SAX Capital is an investment advisor that manages pooled investment vehicles, referred to as Funds. These Funds include special purpose vehicles (SPVs) that invest in single companies and multi-investment funds. SAX Capital identifies and evaluates investment opportunities, often with a sub-advisor, seeking long-term appreciation in privately-owned technology companies. The Funds generally hold passive investments without debt, focusing on direct equity, indirect equity, and digital assets. SAX Capital does not offer investment advisory services for separately managed accounts.
Fee Structure
SAX Capital manages investments for pooled investment vehicles (Funds). SAX Capital or an affiliate receives incentive compensation in the form of a carried interest in the profits generated by the Fund, typically 20% of the Fund's net profits, split between SAX Capital and any sub-advisor. SAX Capital's share is typically up to 5% of the Fund's net profits. For certain clients, including the Access Fund, SAX Capital may receive a management fee. Fees are detailed in the governing documents for each Fund.
