SPC serves as the manager for various Funds, generally employing a Venture Capital and/or Private Equity strategy, investing in private company securities. SPC tailors its management style to each Fund or Series. Funds are offered to accredited investors and qualified clients. SPC identifies, evaluates, and selects potential opportunities and monitors the ongoing performance of investments.
Fee Structure
Schechter Private Capital (SPC) manages investments for private investment funds, not directly for individuals. SPC charges these funds varying fees based on the terms, complexity, and perceived risk/reward of the investments. Generally, SPC charges performance-based fees or allocations payable on distribution (“carried interest”), often with a hurdle or similar preferred rate threshold. In many cases, a management fee is also charged. There is no set standard fee schedule for SPC Funds.
