LionTree Partners is a private equity firm offering co-investment opportunities to qualified investors in select private equity transactions. LionTree focuses on creative industries and the digital economy, including video gaming, sports betting, e-commerce, financial technology, and health and wellness. LionTree provides investment advice directly to its Private Investment Funds and does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of a Private Investment Fund’s Investors.
Fee Structure
LionTree Partners receives a management fee and a performance allocation in connection with advisory services to its Private Investment Funds. The specific management fees are negotiated at the time the fund is formed or an investor is accepted. The Funds generally pay either a one-time upfront fee equal to 2% of aggregate Investor committed capital or a fee of up to 1% of aggregate Investor contributed capital in advance on a quarterly basis. Investors in the Funds are generally subject to a carried interest charge of up to approximately 10-20% with a hurdle rate.
