Parallaxes Capital Management provides investment advisory services to private investment funds for sophisticated investors. Parallaxes primarily invests in tax receivable agreements (TRAs) using various sourcing strategies, including purchasing TRAs from financial sponsors or originating private TRAs in M&A transactions. While each fund follows a general strategy, Parallaxes may tailor specific advisory services based on the investment objectives outlined in the fund's offering documents. Parallaxes does not participate in wrap fee programs.
Parallaxes Capital Management manages investments for private investment funds and receives compensation through management fees and carried interest (a percentage of profits). The specific management fee calculation depends on each fund's governing documents and is determined by the General Partner. Carried interest terms also vary by fund. Transaction fees may also be paid to Parallaxes or its affiliates. These fees are deducted directly from the capital accounts of the funds. The management fee is typically paid quarterly in advance and is non-refundable, except in limited circumstances.
