Compass Rose Asset Management manages investments for private investment funds offered to investors and separately managed accounts. Compass Rose invests primarily in fixed income instruments and their derivatives, including bonds, loans, and convertibles, as well as private instruments. Compass Rose utilizes an opportunistic long/short credit strategy accompanied with event-driven and capital structure arbitrage sub-strategies through investment in fixed-income securities and other related financial instruments across global markets.
Fee Structure
Compass Rose receives management fees and performance-based compensation from its clients. Management fees range from 0% to 1.75% annually, calculated quarterly based on the beginning net asset value of each investor's capital account. Compass Rose may also receive an incentive allocation or incentive fee, ranging from 15% to 30% of net capital appreciation or net asset value appreciation, respectively, subject to a loss carry-forward mechanism. Fees for separately managed accounts are negotiable and may include management fees based on a percentage of assets or performance fees based on net returns, or both.
