Elmwood Asset Management focuses on credit and value-oriented investments, primarily in U.S. senior secured bank loans. They manage investments for loan accumulation facilities and collateralized loan obligation vehicles (CLOs), which are private funds. Elmwood may also manage separately managed accounts. Elmwood also has a consulting service agreement with Elliott Investment Management L.P. (EIM).
Elmwood Asset Management receives management fees and/or incentive fees (performance-based compensation) for its investment management services. The specific fees are detailed in each client's investment advisory agreement or fund documents. Fees are subject to negotiation and may vary based on the investment strategy, the amount invested, regulatory requirements, customization, and other factors. Management fees for CLOs are structured with senior and subordinated portions. Incentive fees are a percentage of a CLO's cash flow above a specified return. Elmwood does not maintain a fixed fee schedule.
