Smash Ventures Management Company LP and Smash Capital Advisors LP provide investment management and advisory services to venture capital funds and other privately offered funds. Smash identifies and evaluates investment opportunities, negotiates investments, manages and monitors investments, and achieves dispositions for such investments. Investments are predominantly in non-public companies, although investments in public companies are permitted. Smash does not sponsor or participate in wrap fee programs.
Fee Structure
Smash Ventures manages venture capital funds and charges an asset-based management fee and a share of the fund's distributions (carried interest). The specific amount and calculation method are detailed in each fund's governing documents. Certain co-invest vehicles may not charge management fees or carried interest. Investors generally cannot withdraw or redeem interests in the fund. The funds bear their own costs and expenses related to activities, investments, and business.
