Independent Access Partners (IAP) is an investment management company that provides investment advice to private investment funds. IAP serves as the investment advisor and provides discretionary investment advisory services to each of its funds. IAP focuses on delivering solutions to investors and advisors looking to access institutional-quality small to mid-sized alternative investments. IAP forms private feeder funds, each investing substantially all of its assets in an underlying fund managed by an unaffiliated manager.
Fee Structure
IAP manages investments for its Funds and charges a Management Fee based on a percentage of the Fund's aggregate commitments per year through the end of the investment period, and then a percentage of the Fund's invested capital. This fee is paid quarterly in advance. Certain Funds also pay an Administration Fee for administrative and investor services. Some Funds may also allocate a Performance Fee based on a percentage of the Fund’s return on invested capital. The Underlying Fund Managers also receive management fees and performance-based fees from the applicable Fund.
