IQ Portfolios provides ongoing portfolio management services tailored to each client's individual goals, objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance. IQP creates a personalized investment policy statement for each client and builds an appropriate asset allocation strategy primarily utilizing mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, fixed income securities, and equities. Additionally, IQP offers services to help clients select third-party money managers, such as SEI Private Trust Company, to manage all or a portion of their assets. IQP has discretionary authority to make investment and trading decisions without prior consultation with the client. The firm primarily serves individuals and high-net-worth individuals. Andy Ortiz, the principal owner, is also a registered representative of a broker-dealer and a licensed insurance agent, creating potential conflicts of interest when recommending commission-based products.
