Lightsmith Climate Resilience Management serves as the investment advisor to Lightsmith Climate Resilience Partners, a private investment fund. The fund invests in companies offering climate resilience solutions, aiming for positive impacts on climate adaptation and mitigation. Lightsmith may manage additional private investment funds in the future. Investors must be accredited and qualified.
Fee Structure
Lightsmith is compensated through asset-based management fees, calculated as a percentage of investor capital commitments, paid quarterly in advance. The management fee is generally between 0% and 2% annually. The fund also pays Lightsmith an advisory fee, payable quarterly in advance, equal to 2% per year of capital commitments during the commitment period, and 2% per year of net invested capital thereafter. Lightsmith or its affiliated general partner will receive a carried interest distribution equal to 20% of all realized profits, subject to an 8% preferred return.
