LongRange Capital provides investment supervisory services to investment vehicles called Funds, which are exempt from registration. The Funds invest primarily in long-term equity and equity-related securities, mainly in North America and Europe. LongRange Capital investigates investment opportunities, negotiates investments, manages their performance, and disposes of them. Investment advice is provided directly to the Funds, not to individual investors.
LongRange Capital does not directly manage investments for individual investors. It manages investment vehicles (Funds) and receives a management fee based on a budget negotiated with the investors in the Funds. The management fee may vary during the life of a Fund and can be modified or reduced at LongRange Capital's discretion. The Funds also typically bear certain out-of-pocket expenses incurred by LongRange Capital.
