Monimus Capital Management aims to generate double-digit annual returns with low correlation to benchmark indices. They use a long-short strategy, primarily investing in small- and mid-cap companies in the consumer, healthcare, industrial, and technology sectors. Monimus Capital offers advisory services to a private fund they sponsor and to private funds or managed accounts sponsored by unaffiliated third parties.
Monimus Capital's fund has different fee structures for different classes of investors. For outside investors (Series A), there is a monthly fixed fee equal to 0.125% (1.5% per year) of the investor's capital account. Employees of Monimus Capital invest in Series E, which does not charge a monthly management fee. Monimus Capital also earns performance-based compensation based on a percentage of each investor’s capital account’s net profits, including unrealized gains, payable at the end of each fiscal year. Monimus Capital may waive or reduce the management fee and/or performance-based compensation for certain strategic investors. Monimus Capital receives similar management fees and performance-based compensation from managed accounts, although the terms are subject to negotiation.
