Garden City Management provides investment advisory services to private investment funds. They seek long-term investments in operating businesses across North America, focusing on building people-focused and innovative service-oriented business platforms. Garden City invests capital through majority or minority stakes in private and public companies. They form special purpose vehicles for each investment.
Garden City Management provides investment management services to its private fund clients. They are generally entitled to an annual asset-based management fee calculated as a percentage of each investor’s commitment during the investment period. After the investment period ends, the management fee is calculated as a percentage of the net asset value of the fund. The management fee is generally 2%, but Garden City may waive or reduce the amount of such fee. Garden City may also be entitled to receive incentive distributions from the fund after a certain preferred return has been distributed to investors. This incentive distribution is generally between 20-30%.
