Ronin Equity Partners, founded in 2019, is a private equity firm that focuses on control equity investment opportunities in the industrial, consumer, and technology, media, and telecom sectors. Ronin provides advisory services to special purpose investment entities (Funds) created to acquire equity securities of specific operating companies. Ronin does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of specific investors in any Fund.
Fee Structure
Ronin Equity Partners does not charge management fees to the Funds. Instead, Ronin charges management fees to the Operating Companies. Ronin receives a performance-based distribution, or carried interest, generally equal to a portion of the distributions made to the investors in the Fund, after the investors have received a return of their invested capital and allocable expenses, plus any agreed upon preferred return.
