1888 Investments provides investment management and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts, charitable organizations, nonprofit entities, and corporate entities. 1888 develops and implements investment strategies, identifies investment opportunities, analyzes investments, executes acquisitions, monitors investments, and disposes of investments. Clients generally invest in funds managed by third-party or affiliated managers.
Fee Structure
1888 Investments does not receive a management fee from the Funds. However, the Funds bear certain expenses. To the extent that 1888 manages any Direct Investments valued at $5,000,000 or greater, 1888 receives a Management Fee for its monitoring and reporting of Direct Investments, which are directly billed to Clients holding such Direct Investments. 1888 will charge each Fund an annual incentive fee with respect to the performance of the Funds.
