Brookfield Asset Management Private Institutional Capital Adviser (BMG) LLC advises pooled investment vehicles, or "funds of funds," that invest in real asset-focused strategies managed by Brookfield. Brookfield is a global alternative asset manager focusing on real estate, infrastructure, sustainable resources, renewable power, and private equity, primarily for institutional investors. BAM PIC BMG's clients are generally treated the same as other third-party investors in the Brookfield Accounts.
Fee Structure
BAM PIC BMG does not directly manage investments for individual investors. It advises funds of funds that invest in other Brookfield Accounts. Clients will bear a base management fee and underlying incentive fee payable to Brookfield for managing the relevant Underlying Brookfield Account. In addition, Investors in Brookfield Accounts advised by BAM PIC BMG will bear a management fee payable to Brookfield for managing fund of funds advised by BAM PIC BMG that is equivalent to a fixed percentage of assets under management, as set out in the offering documents of the relevant BAM PIC BMG client.
