LS BDC Adviser manages investments for business development companies (BDCs) and private funds, focusing on first and second lien loans, as well as subordinated and mezzanine loans. The firm identifies investment opportunities, conducts research, performs due diligence, and monitors investments. LS Adviser also offers a BDC Income Strategy through a sub-advisory relationship for a separately managed account (SMA). The firm does not provide advisory services directly to the investors in the Funds.

SMA Management Fees range from 0.50% - 1.00% of fair market value of the portfolio. Management fees for the Funds range from 0.75% - 1.50%, with the percentage based on invested capital, with respect to the Private Fund, and based on a percentage of the average value of gross assets with respect to the BDC.
