Liberty Strategic Capital, led by former Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin, manages investments for private investment partnerships and co-investment vehicles (Funds). Liberty formulates investment objectives, manages fund assets, and provides reports to the Funds' investors. Liberty may offer co-investment opportunities to certain investors, related persons, and third parties.
Fee Structure
Liberty Strategic Capital manages investments for private investment partnerships (Funds). Liberty earns an annual management fee from each Fund, payable quarterly in advance, based on a percentage of the aggregate committed capital during the commitment period and then on actively invested capital thereafter. The affiliated General Partners may also earn performance-based compensation in the form of carried interest from each of the Funds. Liberty, its affiliates, and employees may also receive Transaction Fees in connection with services provided to the Funds or portfolio companies of the Funds. Such Transaction Fees offset Management Fees payable to Liberty by the applicable Fund.
