ECS Wealth Strategies refers clients to third-party investment managers for ongoing portfolio management. ECS Wealth gathers client financial information and investment goals to recommend a suitable third-party manager. They also provide initial financial planning services, especially related to federal employee benefits. ECS Wealth conducts due diligence on the third-party managers they recommend.
ECS Wealth Strategies does not directly manage investments. Instead, they refer clients to Baring Financial, LLC, who charges a maximum annual fee of 1.2%. ECS Wealth receives 50% of the fee you pay to Baring Financial. This percentage is not negotiable. Baring Financial's fee is negotiable, but they may be less willing to negotiate lower rates for clients referred by ECS Wealth.
