Mercator Management (USA) LP serves as the investment advisor, with authority to make trades, for private investment funds offered to accredited investors and qualified purchasers. Mercator does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of any particular investor. Mercator's investment objective is to seek capital appreciation by taking long and short positions in global equities, primarily in the energy, primary production, manufacturing, and transportation sectors.
Fee Structure
Mercator Management manages investments for private funds, not individual investors. The funds pay a quarterly management fee based on the value of the capital accounts. The fee is 0.3125% per quarter (1.25% annually) for founders' capital accounts and 0.375% per quarter (1.5% annually) for standard capital accounts. These fees are paid in advance and adjusted for contributions and withdrawals.
