Mavericus Retirement Services (MRS) is a flat-fee, advice-only financial planning firm specializing in retirement income planning and health insurance decisions for retirees. MRS operates virtually and does not manage investments or accept assets under management fees, nor does it earn commissions from selling insurance or investment products. MRS helps clients with retirement goal planning, tax-efficient income distribution, Social Security, annuity, pension strategies, Medicare/Health Insurance planning, and more.
Fee Structure
The flat fee for the initial retirement income plan and the first year of ongoing financial planning is $1,700, charged upon delivery of the plan. Starting 18 months after the agreement, a recurring flat fee of $1,700 per year is charged semi-annually at $850 per charge.
- Annuity Advice and Acquisition Service: $600 flat fee to provide annuity advice, run illustrations, and connect the client with a state-licensed insurance agent.
- Pre-Retirement Check-Up: $1,000 flat fee to assess the client's financial condition, goals, and risk tolerance in preparation for retirement.
- Hourly advice: $350 per hour.
