Saturn Five Advisors provides investment advice to pooled investment vehicles (the Funds). These Funds invest in small businesses, holding companies, and early-stage companies in critical technology, national defense, and outer space. The advice is not tailored for individual investors within the Funds. Saturn Five's investment strategies include small business buyouts with a long-hold approach and venture capital investments in early-stage companies. Affiliates of Saturn Five may receive compensation from the companies in which the Funds invest.
Fee Structure
Saturn Five Advisors manages investments for pooled investment vehicles. The fees vary depending on the fund and are detailed in each fund's offering materials. For some funds, Saturn Five receives a management fee not to exceed 4% of committed capital annually, paid quarterly. For other funds, there are no management fees, but affiliated personnel receive a portion of the carried interest. For Overmatch Funds, Saturn Five receives 2% of committed capital annually, paid monthly, reducing to 1.5% after five years. A one-time syndication fee of 2% is received for services to certain SPVs. Fees are subject to modification, waiver, or reduction.
