Fee Structure
Amergin Asset Management manages investments for private funds and receives compensation through a management fee, an incentive fee, and an origination fee.
The management fee is calculated based on the fair value of the fund's investments:
- 1% of fair value when fair value is less than or equal to $500 million.
- The sum of $5 million, plus 0.80% of the excess of fair value when fair value is greater than $500 million but less than or equal to $1 billion.
- 0.70% of fair value when fair value is greater than $1 billion.
The incentive fee scales from 0% to 12.5% based on the rate of return of the fund's investments.
The origination fee is based on the aggregate purchase price of income-producing equipment assets acquired by the fund and is equal to:
- 1.00% of the purchase price, until the fund makes investments with an aggregate purchase price equal to $500 million.
- 0.50% of the purchase price, when the fund has made investments with an aggregate purchase price greater than $500 million but less than or equal to $1.0 billion.
- 0.35% of the purchase price, when the fund has made investments with an aggregate purchase price greater than $1.0 billion.
