Copia Investment Management is an investment advisor that manages private funds, providing debt and equity capital to lower middle market companies. Copia identifies investment opportunities, negotiates terms, manages investments, and seeks profitable exits. Copia does not tailor its advisory services to the individual needs of investors in its Funds.
Copia Investment Management manages investment funds and charges a management fee based on a percentage of non-affiliated investor's commitments. Initially, the fee is 1.75% of aggregate commitments while the fund is making investments. After that, the fee is 1.50% of outstanding funded capital contributions related to investments that haven't been disposed of or permanently written down. The management fee may be reduced or waived for principals, employees, and their families who invest in a Fund.
