Schmidt Wealth Management offers portfolio management tailored to individual client goals and risk tolerance. They create investment plans and manage portfolios with discretionary authority. The firm also provides financial planning services, including investment, retirement, college, and debt planning. Schmidt Wealth Management generally limits its investment advice to mutual funds, fixed income securities, insurance products including annuities, equities, ETFs, treasury inflation protected/inflation linked bonds, venture capital funds and private placements.
Schmidt Wealth Management offers portfolio management services with fees based on the amount of your portfolio. There are two fee schedules, one for Schwab clients and one for Schwab Maximum Portfolio clients. These fees are negotiable.

Schmidt Wealth Management also charges a one-time, upfront fixed fee of 2.00% for private placement non-traded alternative investments. Plus, an ongoing monitoring or advisory fee of 1.00%, starting in the 2nd month of initial investment, every year thereafter will be paid in advance, on a monthly basis, until the investment is sold, liquidated, closed or disposed of.
