Makarora Management is a real estate advisory firm that manages investment opportunities in the commercial real estate market. Makarora provides discretionary investment advice to its Funds, managing them according to each Fund's specific strategy, investment objectives, and guidelines. Makarora uses a thematic approach to identify macroeconomic and real estate sector trends and locate areas of distress and associated drivers of opportunity. Makarora may enter into side letter agreements with certain investors that may provide for more favorable investment terms.
Fee Structure
Makarora Management does not directly manage investments for individual investors. It manages real estate funds for its clients. The firm receives a management fee, billed quarterly in advance, based on either committed capital or invested capital during the investment period. After the investment period, the fee is based on invested capital. Makarora may also receive additional fees from investments in which a Fund has an interest, such as property management, loan services, or advisory services. These fees do not reduce the management fees paid by the Fund or shared with investors.
