Clients are not obligated to act on recommendations or use RIPL for transactions.
Retirement Income Planning uses Gradient Investments (GI) to manage investment portfolios. GI's annual fee is 1.70% for strategic, tactical, and allocation & defined outcome portfolios, and 1.00% for preservation portfolios. RIPL receives 1.00% of the fee for strategic, tactical, and allocation & defined outcome portfolios, and 0.60% for preservation portfolios. For client-directed accounts, GI charges a flat $300 annual fee, and RIPL receives $0. GI also charges a $15 quarterly service fee. These fees are negotiable.
