Fee Structure
SHFM manages investments for private investment vehicles (funds). The firm receives an annual management fee from each fund, typically payable quarterly in advance. The general partner of a fund generally makes capital calls on fund investors for the amount of SHFM’s management fees. The general partner or its affiliate is also generally entitled to receive a carried interest allocation from a fund after certain performance hurdles have been met.
