Farmers Asset Management (FAM) provides financial planning and investment management services. Financial planning involves an initial consultation to gather information about the client's financial situation, goals, and objectives, followed by a discussion of a financial plan with recommendations. Investment management services include regular supervision of assets, primarily for retail clients, high net worth individuals, and businesses. FAM manages assets on a discretionary basis, investing primarily in mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), certificates of deposit (CDs), U.S. Government bonds, individual stocks, and fixed income investments.
Farmers Asset Management (FAM) uses third-party managers like Orion Portfolio Solutions (OPS) and Brinker Capital Investments (BCI) to manage investments. FAM charges up to 1.00% of your portfolio, in addition to fees charged by OPS/BCI and any administrative/technology fees. The total investment management service fee will not exceed 2.25%. FAM does not have a minimum annual fee for investment management services.
