Investors participate in the overall investment program, but may be excused from certain investments. Aphias may also provide co-investment opportunities to certain investors or other persons.
Fee Structure
Aphias Capital manages investments for private funds and receives a management fee and carried interest. The management fee for Fund I is 2.0% annually of investor capital commitments during the investment period, payable quarterly in advance. After the investment period, the fee is 2.0% of unrecouped bridge financings and investment contributions, less amounts from disposed or written-off investments. Investors also bear certain fund expenses. Aphias may receive supplemental fees for services to portfolio companies, which may offset the management fee. Carried interest is 20% of realized profits, subject to an 8% preferred return.
