Apollo MPS Management (AMPS) creates standard and custom model portfolios for financial institutions (banks, brokers, advisors). These portfolios consist exclusively of investment products managed by Apollo's affiliates. AMPS does not directly advise individual investors; instead, financial institutions use the model portfolios to manage their clients' accounts. AMPS faces conflicts of interest because it only includes Apollo products, from which Apollo earns fees.
Fee Structure
AMPS does not charge any fees to financial institutions or their clients for the model portfolios it provides. However, if clients invest in the Apollo investment products within these portfolios, they will incur fees and expenses charged by those products. These fees include management fees and performance-based compensation paid to Apollo's affiliated managers, as well as various operating expenses.
