SPARX Asset Management Korea (SPARX Korea) offers portfolio management services, managing client accounts based on investment policies set by the client. SPARX Korea focuses on investing in Korean stocks but may also invest in other areas, including common stocks, derivatives, hedge funds, and other private investments. The firm may use equity index futures and options for managing risk and liquidity. SPARX Korea's investment decisions for one client may differ from those for other clients.
SPARX Korea's fees are based on a percentage of the value of the assets they manage. This management fee can be as high as 2% per year, and is paid monthly or quarterly, depending on what's agreed with the client. In addition to the management fee, SPARX Korea may also charge a performance fee based on a percentage of the investment return over a period of time, which can be as high as 20% and is generally paid twice a year or annually. Clients will also have to pay other fees to third parties, such as custodian fees and brokerage fees.
