In addition to general portfolio management, Iron Horse Asset Management offers specialized active management for individual stock portfolios and consulting services for employee benefit plans. The firm operates with a legal obligation to act in the best interest of its clients when providing investment advice.
Fee Structure
Iron Horse Asset Management charges an annual fee based on the total value of your investment portfolio, billed quarterly in arrears. The fee rate decreases as your portfolio grows:
- $0 to $500,000 — 1.00% per year
- $500,001 to $1,000,000 — 0.80% per year
- $1,000,001 to $3,000,000 — 0.70% per year
- $3,000,001 to $10,000,000 — 0.60% per year
- Over $10,000,000 — 0.45% per year
If you request active management of an individual stock portfolio, there is an additional annual fee of 0.25%. While there is no strict minimum investment amount required to open an account, Iron Horse Asset Management enforces a minimum annual relationship fee of $2,000, which the firm may waive at its discretion.
