First Step Wealth Planning charges a fixed annual fee for comprehensive wealth planning based on the value of your portfolio when you start working with them:

• Portfolios up to $3,000,000 — $12,000 per year
• Portfolios from $3,000,001 to $5,000,000 — $20,000 to $30,000 per year
• Portfolios over $5,000,000 — $30,000 to $40,000 per year

This fee is paid monthly in advance or in arrears. For complex situations, an additional complexity fee may apply, bringing the total annual fee up to a maximum of $40,000. If the firm uses an outside manager to help manage your investments, that manager's fees will be separate.
