As a lieutenant, Dominic commanded a Scout Sniper platoon and deployed his unit twice, including a combat deployment to Al Anbar Province, Iraq, in 2007. After his promotion to captain, Dominic led an officer recruiting station and was responsible for developing Marine officer candidates in eastern Pennsylvania.
