Instead, investment management is bundled with ongoing financial planning through an annual retainer starting at a minimum of $3,600 per year. The exact retainer fee depends on the complexity of your situation, the number of accounts you have, and the services provided. If your investment portfolio is under $300,000, the firm will only offer retainer services if most of the fee is allocated to financial planning rather than investment management.
