The firm also has a relationship with Gradient Investments, LLC and Freedom Investment Management, LLC to provide portfolio management services. The firm also offers seminars and workshops to educate the public on different types of investments and the services they offer.
Fee Structure
Koplan & Associates offers investment management services where the annual fee ranges from 0.8% to 1.5% of the value of your portfolio. The fee is negotiable. Fees are billed quarterly.
Koplan & Associates also has a relationship with Gradient Investments, LLC. The fee for these services is based on a percentage of the value of your portfolio. The fees are:
- Strategic Portfolios: 2.00% annually (1.00% to Gradient Investments and 1.00% to Koplan & Associates)
- Tactical Portfolios: 1.80% annually (0.80% to Gradient Investments and 1.00% to Koplan & Associates)
- Allocation & Defined Outcome Portfolios: 1.70% annually (0.70% to Gradient Investments and 1.00% to Koplan & Associates)
- Preservation Portfolios: 1.00% annually (0.40% to Gradient Investments and 0.60% to Koplan & Associates)
- Client Directed Accounts: $300 annually to Gradient Investments
Koplan & Associates also offers discretionary direct asset management services utilizing Freedom Investment Management, LLC. The fees are:
- UMA Program: First $250,000: 2.15% annually, Next $250,000: 2.05% annually, Next $1,500,000: 1.95% annually, Next $3,000,000: 1.80% annually, Amounts over $5,000,000: 1.65% annually. Koplan & Associates retains 1.00% of the fee.
- ETF Program: First $250,000: 1.90% annually, Next $250,000: 1.80% annually, Next $1,500,000: 1.70% annually, Next $3,000,000: 1.55% annually, Amounts over $5,000,000: 1.40% annually. Koplan & Associates retains 1.00% of the fee.
