Dana Whiting Financial (DWF) refers clients to third-party money managers who provide asset management services. DWF does not manage client funds directly. DWF receives a portion of the fees charged by the third-party managers as a referral fee. DWF specializes in matching clients with appropriate asset management firms.
Fee Structure
DWF does not directly manage investments. Instead, DWF refers you to a third-party money manager. DWF is compensated by the third-party manager through a portion of the fees you pay them. The fees paid to DWF by the third-party manager do not increase the fees that you would otherwise be charged. The fees paid to DWF may vary from manager to manager and program to program, but will not exceed 35% of the fee charged to you by the third-party manager and will specifically be disclosed to you in the third-party manager’s Solicitors Disclosure Statement, other disclosure document, and/or investment advisory agreement. The total fees you pay to the third-party manager will never exceed 2.0% per year of your assets under management.
