O'Toole Strategic Investments (OSI) connects clients with third-party money managers (TPMs) who handle investment portfolios. OSI gathers client information, recommends suitable TPMs based on financial needs and goals, and monitors the TPM's performance. OSI acts as a liaison between the client and the TPM, assisting with paperwork and providing ongoing services like discussing changes in status, updating the TPM, and reviewing statements. OSI also offers insurance products through its affiliated company, The O'Toole Group.
Fee Structure
O'Toole Strategic Investments (OSI) does not directly manage your investments. Instead, OSI refers you to third-party money managers (TPMs) who will manage your portfolio. The fees you pay will be based on a percentage of the assets managed by the TPM. OSI receives a portion of the fees charged by the TPM as a referral fee.
The annual fees for the different portfolio types are:
- Strategic Portfolios: 2.00% (1.00% to the third-party manager, 1.00% to OSI)
- Tactical Portfolios: 1.80% (0.80% to the third-party manager, 1.00% to OSI) plus an internal fee of 0.20% from the ETF.
- Allocation & Defined Outcome Portfolios: 1.70% (0.70% to the third-party manager, 1.00% to OSI)
- Preservation Portfolios: 1.00% (0.40% to the third-party manager, 0.60% to OSI)
- Client Directed Accounts: $300 annually to the third-party manager, $0 to OSI. This is a flat fee.
There is also a $15 quarterly service fee for technology and reporting.
