Opto Investment Management (Opto IM) provides advisory services related to private markets investment programs and funds. Opto IM manages special purpose vehicles (Opto SPVs) that invest in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and other private investment funds. Opto IM identifies fund managers, negotiates investment terms, manages the Opto SPVs, and sponsors the syndication of interests in the Opto SPVs through financial intermediaries. Opto IM also offers custom white label fund structures to certain platform participants.
Fee Structure
Opto Investment Management (Opto IM) does not directly manage investments for individual investors. Opto IM provides investment advice to Opto SPVs, not to the investors in those SPVs. Opto IM receives a management fee from each Opto Fund, calculated quarterly, and may receive carried interest. The management fee ranges up to 1.3% per year. Opto IM may share a portion of these fees with the relevant platform participant.
