Iron Horse Financial Services offers investment management through a co-advisor relationship with Gradient Investments, LLC and Orion Portfolio Solutions. Iron Horse helps clients select appropriate investment models based on their goals and risk tolerance. They also provide financial planning and consulting services, including reviews of wills, estate plans, investments, taxes, and insurance. Clients can impose restrictions on investments.
Fee Structure
Iron Horse Financial Services offers investment management through Gradient Investments, LLC. The total fee will never exceed 3% of the assets managed per year. The fees are split between Gradient Investments and Iron Horse. Examples of annual fees are:
- Strategic & Tactical, Allocation & Defined Outcome Portfolios: 1.50% total (0.50% to Gradient Investments, 1.00% to Iron Horse)
- Preservation Portfolios: 1.00% total (0.40% to Gradient Investments, 0.60% to Iron Horse)
- Private Wealth Portfolios: 1.50% total (0.50% to Gradient Investments, 1.00% to Iron Horse)
For Client Directed Accounts, a flat fee of $300 is charged by Gradient Investments.
Iron Horse also offers investment management through Orion Portfolio Solutions. Iron Horse charges an annual investment advisory fee of no more than 1.00%. This fee may be negotiable. Orion Portfolio Solutions also charges fees for administration, account maintenance, and strategist fees.
