Jay holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designations, a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, and he has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh. Jay began his career in 1983 as a financial planner, and spent ten years as a Trust Specialist and Investment Representative for the investment firm A.G.
