Phone-based advisors work with clients to assess their financial needs, risk tolerance, and goals, and then recommend an appropriate advice strategy. Once enrolled, Goldman Sachs Asset Management constructs and manages the underlying investment portfolio on a discretionary basis using mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and stable value options. Transamerica Retirement Advisors also offers investment education services to participants in employer-sponsored retirement plans. The firm is a wholly owned subsidiary of Transamerica Retirement Solutions.
